About Tom Yates, Realtor®, joined the U. S. Navy right out of high school, where he served for four years on board The USS Halsey. Married for 39 years, with two daughters and one granddaughter, Tom spent 31 years with the US Postal service, rising to the position of Postmaster in Starke, Florida. Having owned residences in Jacksonville, Orange Park, and Fleming Island, Florida, Tom and his wife now reside in St. Johns, where he enjoys all aspects of the First Coast lifestyle. Tom's clients benefit from his multiple careers, which have spanned a significant portion of the North Florida area, making Tom intimately familiar with Jacksonville, St. Augustine, St. Johns, and all that Northeast Florida has to offer. Tom feels fortunate that he was able to join the most prestigious and respected real estate firm in Northeast Florida, Coldwell Banker Vanguard Realty in Fleming Island. He is the recipient of numerous industry awards. Tom supports several local nonprofits, including Safe Animal Shelter, Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, and CBV Cares, a fundraising organization run by Tom's brokerage.
